My first escape game was in mid-2015, and I was instantly hooked. The feeling of discovery draws me in, and with so many themes to choose from, how can you not love it? When not trying to figure out combination locks, I can also go to board game cafes in South Wales, or spout fanboy rhetoric about Doctor Who.

I grew up watching the Crystal Maze and when I first heard about escape rooms, I couldn’t wait to try one. I love the teamwork and the feeling of accomplishment when I knock out a challenging puzzle. I play with friends and colleagues – we’ve played enough to need a spreadsheet to keep track!

I played my first game in August 2015 - and ever since I've been hooked, playing at least one game a month since then! I enjoy the pressure and drama of the clock ticking down! I've plans to play as many games as possible... and would love for you to read all about my escape habit!

This all began with my first experience in Amsterdam. Sherlocked - I succeeded (just) and that is the art of escapism. It is unexpected and real. Join me on my journey through deception and cunningness, then you too will have insight to the world of trickery.
